Amidst all vast white barrenness
I see a tint of green.
After a long frozen winter
The first blade of grass is seen.
Maybe with joy more than I can risk
I let my heart wander,
Imagine a season of colours
Lime, violet and lavender.
I might as well go ahead and dream
Of you and your return.
But the window pane now fogs up
And my bare feet feel frostbitten.
Letters to Twilight
...Yours Sincerely

Dream
Tonight again my heart wonders
As I watch you fall asleep...
On your forehead gently lay playing
Some stray loose locks in the breeze.
The rest lay scattered unevenly
On my arm around your face.
A few on your bosom heaving
At a serene, slow and steady pace.
Like at rest a woodland Goddess
Keeping peace in the wilderness.
Or a ship that's several storms survived,
Through monsters and pirates thrived.
'Shhh... lay still. I'm still here.
It's only the wall-clock's chime.
It calls out, yet we don't need to know
How late it is or what is the time.'
Of all your long cherished ones
Which dream tonight you chose to dream?
...Yes tonight again my heart wonders
As I watch my dream fall asleep.

Maybe..
Maybe it's this moment's magic
That makes me think of you,
Remember each little tiny detail
Of that evening I spent with you.
Maybe it'll last a lifetime
This moment full of memories of you.
Maybe I'll pick a more picturesque evening
Or maybe I'll just spend one with you.

Golden Farewell
It's been raining since morning.
But now that it's finally stopped
I want to go out and play.
But it's almost night time.
I can see the shades of saffron
Turning purple, faraway.
My heart tempts me to step out.
Though "There will be a tomorrow."
A bit sternly "they" say.
They bid me a golden farewell,
These last rays of sun.
'Yes, today at twilight, begins my day.'

Share
a day that ends with wishes for your dreams
few moments spent with a pen and a notebook
to write it all down, to never forget
or to read it to you, whenever leisure permits
.........................
oh! what a way to share my life with you!

Dream Jn.
A beautiful dream it was
Alas, that is all I remember -
- A pretty etching on my mind.
...
The train stopped at a station
"I'm thirsty - should I get some water?"
I wondered too long and the train left.
I wondered, "What station was that?"
